Sims Resource Renewal has identified a site adjacent to its existing metal recycling operation in Campbellfield as the proposed site for a Victorian resource renewal facility.
Project Status
In October 2021 Sims Resource Renewal lodged a Development Licence Application with the Environment Protection Authority Victoria and Planning Permit Application with the Hume City Council for a proposed resource renewal facility. We have paused further work while we assess the impact of the Victorian Government’s Waste-to-Energy Framework released in November 2021.
We remain committed to developing the proposed resource renewal facility at Campbellfield and to engaging with the Victorian Government, Hume City Council, local community and all other interested stakeholders.
